Sam4s SPS-340 Cash Register

Sam4s has recently introduced the SPS-340 cash register, belonging to a new line of cash registers, the SPS-300 series, to replace the popular Sam4s ER-650 cash registers.

One of the most popular questions we received over the years at Cash Registers Online was if there was a version of the ER-650 cash register that had a dedicated journal printer.  Unfortunately, the answer to this question was always no.  Granted, the ER-650 featured electronic journal functionality, or you could have an external journal printer, like the SNBC R880NP printer, but most people did not like those solutions.

The Sam4s SPS-340 Cash Register takes the popular design of the ER-650 and improves on that design in every way.  Not only does it offer a dedicated receipt and journal printer, but it also has a larger keyboard than the ER-650, more memory, more available serial ports for peripherals, an SD card slot, standard RJ45 connections and ethernet cabling for IRC (inter-register communication) rather than 6-pin RJ12 connectors, and the ability to share a peripheral device (such as a printer, or Datacap credit card device) between multiple registers.

Fortunately, the menu-based programming that helped make the ER-650 cash register so popular returns in the new Sam4s SPS-300 series machines, keeping programming easy and intuitive for end users while not sacrificing on functionality.

The Sam4s SPS-340 cash register would suit a variety of different businesses, such as coffee shops, yogurt and ice cream shops (with scale functionality), restaurants, or even retail stores that prefer bar code scanning (can hold up to 20,000 items in the cash register) but also need dedicated item buttons for products without bar codes.

We at Cash Registers Online are proud to offer this powerful cash register from Sam4s.  Order yours today by calling us at 1-877-877-3192.
